Concrete Poems by J. I. Kleinberg

I’ve always enjoyed concrete or calligraphic poems–I remember one I read as a kid that had the word “forsythia” arranged to make a vase of flowers. But I’m often at a loss for examples, so am glad to publish these by J. I. Kleinberg, also on view at http://chocolateisaverb.wordpress.com/

I think the web and electronic publishing–not to mention computers in general–make things like haiga (image and haiku) and concrete poems both easier to create and to communicate. Any thoughts on this?

  1. I totally agree. I just love word art. Whenever I can play with text and fonts in my designs I do. I think ampersand/orgasm sums it up nicely. 🙂
