Letter To My Younger Self by Bonnie Schwartz

You were pretty good then. Not as good as you are now. But pretty good.

You didn’t have cellulite on your ass and your tits didn’t sag as much. Your skin was smoother, less scarred and striated, more moist. Your teeth were whiter.

But you are better now and you know it. You know what it takes to really love. And you know what not to accept.

There are things that were easier then. Most things. There were, even then, men who weren’t good for you.

What would I tell you now? I would say, be still. There is usually no need to move very fast. I would say: You have wonders ahead of you.

Wait.

Wait.
