Hot Springs, Arkansas–at last!

For years, I’ve wanted to be a writer in residence at this lovely and unusual national park. And this month I am! The stone “cabin” is a nicely equipped house in a well kept campground. It’s very quiet and peaceful, but with a little village right outside.

A screened porch.

Do other writes automatically make a nest?

Desk crystal shrine.

Project “table.”

And if you were wondering–can I do suminagashi in a muffin baking pan…the answer is YES.
