1. I’m grateful I did not hit the absent minded elderly pedestrian who stepped in front of my car at the mall.
2. I’m grateful my ESP student had the charming and smart idea that we should read “The Little Prince” in English.
3. I’m grateful for English, surely one of the most confusing lawless languages on earth, my mother tongue.
4. I’m grateful for the public library, from which the copy of “The Little Prince” has been borrowed.
5. I’m grateful that I wasn’t born yesterday.
6. I’m grateful for those who will be born tomorrow.
