THISTLE SEED
By Don Segal
Is it the same one
Or two or
Is each one a new
Chickadee
At the feeder
Picking, pecking,
At the seeds?
How different are you
From those you see,
Or from me,
Picking, pecking?
Iranian Haibun by Massih Talebian
Massih Talebian
I was six years old living in a small city (Iran) and at our neighborhood a beautiful woman was living too.her name was Dina and she had two sons and one daughter.she was tall with long black hairs.every year from spring up to the autumn she used to become mad, losing her mind but even in this condition she was loving me but hurting the other children.her memories are living with me after 50 years and I was trying several times to write her story many years ago which finally I found her in haiku.

I carry beans, chili, green salad
